In line with the recent government updates, we are very happy to announce that as of Saturday 25th July, we are now open.

New Safety at W3 Club

As part of reopening we want to make sure our members and staff are safe. That's why we have put in new safety precautions so everyone can enjoy being back at the gym safely

Advanced bookings

In order to manage capacity, and therefore safety of our members, you will be required to book a slot in advance on the app for your workout.

Limited Changing Room Facilities

Due to the high risk environment of the showers, they will be remaining closed for the time being. The changing rooms will only be open for those that have booked a pool session.

In Club PPE

All our club staff will be provided with masks and gloves. We advise that all members also wear masks and gloves where they are able in the club.

Hand Sanitisers

We have installed hand sanitisers throughout the club for members and staff to frequently use during their visits. Additional portable stations will be added to various areas of the club in busy periods to facilitate good hygiene practices.

Observe Social Distancing

We encourage our members to give each other space and try to keep a social distance of 2 meters at all times. Please follow the signs and stickers around the club and wipe down any equipment you use to maintain a safe and healthy workout environment.

Club Task Force

We have created a specific team who is there to help facilitate all of the measures we have introduced to ensure the safest possible environment for our members in all areas of the club.

FAQs

Our opening hours will be changing temporarily to 0700-2100 weekdays and 0800-2000 weekends to allow for thorough cleaning of all areas of the club.

You will need to book a session in advance for any visit to the club to help us maintain a safe capacity.

This is done through the app which can be found by searching W3 Club on the App Store or Google Play.

Initial bookings open on Tuesday 21st July at 10am. Moving forward bookings for gym floor, swimming and tennis will open 48 hours prior.

Classes will revert to their usual 7 day advance booking.

No. W3 Kids Club, the kids’ pool, sauna, sanarium and steam room will be remaining closed for the initial reopening period. The Spa pool will also be closed for the initial opening due to needing to ensure it is safe for members. We will update you as soon as we have more information on this.

Showers will also be closed in line with government advice. The changing facilities are only available for members with pool bookings.

These decisions have been made to maintain the safest possible environment in our initial reopening period and will be reviewed as necessary.

The lockers will be remaining closed, with the only access to the changing facilities being for members with pool bookings.

All members and team members will need to have their temperature checked upon arrival to the club. If you are showing a temperature, you will not be able to come in to the club. Similarly, if you have been experiencing any Coronavirus symptoms, please refrain from attending the club.

Team members will be provided with masks and gloves. We ask you to also wear masks where you can in the club, although we understand this will not always be possible when training.

We have also added hand sanitiser stations throughout the club.

Signs around the club will also highlight different areas that are limited. For example, the water fountains will just be available for filling up water bottles.

Our newly implemented Club Taskforce will also be around the club to help monitor safety, sanitise and answer any questions you have.

We ask that members are vigilant in the club.

Please be considerate to your fellow members and wipe down any equipment that you are using.

If you are unable to make your session, please cancel your booking to free up the space for someone else.

The gym floor sessions are 90 mins. Please adhere to these timings to help us maintain a safe capacity.

We totally understand if you are not ready to return to the club.

Please email [email protected] to request a membership freeze extension. We are still offering freezes at no charge as we understand this is still an uncertain time.

We will not be offering towels in the initial period. Please bring your own for swimming or training.

We will not be offering swim or tennis lessons in the initial opening period. This will be reviewed as we move forward.

The group exercise timetable has been reduced to allow for adequate cleaning time between classes. The capacity of the classes have also been reduced to ensure safety for members.

We have also added Body Balance to the timetable, which has been heavily requested. We hope that you get to enjoy this class!
